Paul Moorhead
Shop Owner
Paul Moorhead is a skilled furniture maker and craftsman with several years of experience in the industry. After graduating from the University of Oregon in 2003, he moved to Portland and worked in ministry for a few years. During this time he grew to love carpentry as he renovated his first home. Paul moved to Los Angeles in 2008 at the age of 26 to pursue a career in the arts.

Paul discovered his passion for craftsmanship and design in the world of furniture and woodworking after working in many different creative fields. He believes that there are no details too small in the process of designing and creating each project. He is committed to creating beautiful furniture, millwork, and art that brings people together, and is worthy of being passed down from generation to generation.

Gabriel Gotaway
Woodworker
Gabriel is a North Carolina native who began his woodworking journey in residential carpentry, developing his skills in cabinet-making and finishing work. His passion for creativity and organization lends itself to wood-working and furniture design. Gabriel is a kinetic learner and always happy to build things with his hands, learn new techniques, and figure out new ways of working with wood. His obsession with the details makes him a critical part of the Angel City Woodshop team.

Dakota Winters
Woodworker
Dakota is a New Jersey native who transitioned into creative, fine wood-working after working with a decking company for more than eight years. He is passionate about creating things that are both functional and beautiful. He specializes in wood finishes and takes pride in working with his hands. Dakota is a talented artisan and works part-time as a barber. In his spare time, he loves to rock-climb and be outdoors.

Ria Bravo
Designer,
Business Development
Ria is a Nashville native with a passion for design and photography. She graduated with a B.S in interior design and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. With experience in the commercial architecture industry, Ria came to Angel City Woodshop looking for an opportunity to hone her skills in wood-working and custom furniture design. She is involved in a variety of design tasks for the shop including web design, 3d-modeling, and photography.

Andrew McAlpine
Woodworker
Andrew is from Sunland, California and came to Angel City Woodshop to learn more about furniture design and wood-working. Andrew has many creative pursuits including photography and music. In his spare time, he dabbles in a lot of instruments and is learning how to surf. He is on the path to becoming a paramedic after finishing school.
